They are called the formative years for a reason. Many insights can be gained from asking about someone’s childhood. These questions deal with both our own childhood and the childhood of others. They are anything to do with the years prior to what we currently call adulthood.
Education (School & Education)
Anyone will tell you that education is important. It is the single largest indicator of financial and social success. This category deals with formal and informal education. It also addresses the unique relationships and interactions we have at school.
Entertainment (Entertainment, Literature, Fashion & Music )
It is a natural human need to entertain ourselves. What we find entertaining and what we seek out to occup our minds says a great deal about us. This category also addresses fashion along with the more traditional forms of entertainment.
Family (Home & Family)
Our family and home do more to shape who we are than any other factor. It is only appropriate that we look at where we come from. This category covers our relationships with; our parents, children, siblings and spouse.
Geography (Geography & Travel)
Where in the world you are is going to affect your view on the rest of the world. This category provides a breakdown of where you are, where you are headed, and where you would like to eventually end up. To a lesser extent, questions of weather, seasons and environment are dealt with here as well.
Health (Food, Health & Sports)
We are what we eat. It is difficult to have a healthy psyche if we do not have a healthy body.What we choose to eat and choose not to eat has a great effect on our health. Here we inquire into or health choices what we desire to eat and how we exercise. All sports, including spectator and participatory, are categorized here too.
Philosophy (Ethics, Philosophy & Religion)
Ultimately we all want to know what kind of a person we are talking to. What we choose to think about and how we make decisions says volumes about who we are as people. This section deals with questions of ethics and meaning. Religion is also addressed here, although questions pertaining to specific religions are generally avoided.
Relationships (Romance & Friendship) – For many of us the most important thing is how we relate to others. This may be our oldest friendships to our newest spat. Of course, questions of love and romance will fall into this group. Love is, in fact, the most powerful motivator in most peoples lives.
Society (History, Traditions & Society)
We are a product of the environment we live in. It is only natural to question our society and how we relate to it along with how our society relates to the world at large. Questions on holidays are also categorized here, as well as questions of law and societies through time.
Technology Anyone who has lived more than a dozen years has seen the world change. Most of these changes can be directly or indirectly attributed to technology. This section deals with past, current, and future technologies and how we interact with them.
Work (Work & Finance)
For most adults, more of our waking hours are spent at work than anywhere else. Although we work to support the rest of our lives, it forms an important part of our identity. In this section we deal with all things financial. We also look at paid and unpaid labor.
